Indications of  Levamisole injection:

Prophylaxis and treatment of gastrointestinal and lungworm infections like:

Calves, cattle, goats, sheep: Bunostomum, Chabertia, Cooperia, Dictyocaulus, Haemonchus, Nematodirus, Ostertagia, Protostrongylus and Trichostrongylus spp.

Contra indications of  Levamisole injection:

Administration to animals with an impaired hepatic function.

Concurrent administration of pyrantel, morantel or organo-phosphates. 

Dosage and Administration:

For intramuscular administration:

General: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.

Side effects:

Overdoses can cause colic, coughing, excessive salivation, excitation, hyperpnoea, lachrymation, spasms, sweating and vomiting.

Withdrawal times:

- For meat:  

Goats and sheep: 18 days.

Calves and cattle: 14 days.

- For milk: 4 days.

Warning:

Keep out of reach of children.

Store in a cool dry place, below 30℃ and protect from light.

INDICATION of H-Oxyvet 200:

H-Oxyvet 200 powder is used to treat bacterial infections caused by Oxytetracycline sensitive bacteria, such as fowl cholera, infectious synovitis, fowl typhold, chronic respiratory disease (CRD), bacillary white diarrhea, spirochaetosis and to check secondary bacterial infection during viral outbreaks.

H-Oxyvet 200 powder is also can be used to treat Vitamin deficiency, such as: growth disorders, neonate anemia, muscle weakness, gastro-intestinal troubles, anorexia, fertility disorders, rickets, etc.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

H-Oxyvet 200 is recommended for oral administration or given in the drinking water.

Infections synovitis caused by Mycoplasma synoviae: Dissolve H-Oxyvet 200 1-2g per 4.5 liter of drinking water, at the rate of 20mg oxytetracycline HCl per KG body weight. Treatment is usually given for 3-5 consecutive days & maximum upto 14 days.

Chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and air sac infections caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Salmonellosis and fowlcholera caused by Pasteurella multocida: Dissolve H-Oxyvet 200 2-4g per 4.5 liter of drinking water. Treatment is usually given for 3-5 consecutive days & maximum upto 14 days.

WITHDRAWAL TIMES:

Animals must not be slaughtered for human consumption during treatment.

Meat: Cattle, Sheep & Goats: 10 days

Chickens and Turkeys: 7 days

Eggs: 1 day; Milk: Zero day

INDICATIONS:

It is indicated for the treatment of fascioliasis (infestation of mature and immature Fasciola hepatica) in cattle and sheep. At the recommended dose rate, it is also effective against adult and larval infestations of Haemonchus contortus in cattle and sheep and Haemonchus placei, Oesophagostomum radiatum and Bunostomum phlebotomum in cattle. However, it should not be regarded or used as a broad spectrum anthelmintic..

DOSAGE& ADMINISTRATION:

Administer by subcutaneous injection.

The standard dosage is 10mg Nitroxynil per KG bodyweight.

Cattle: 1.5ml per 50kg bodyweight.

Sheep: Less than 40kg, 0.25ml per 10kg bodyweight; 1.5ml for bodyweight between 40-55kg; 2.0ml for bodyweight between 56-75kg; 2.5ml for bodyweight over 75kg.

SIDE EFFECTS:

Small swelling is occasionally observed at the injection site in cattle. It can be avoided by injecting the dose in two separate sites and massaging well to disperse the solution.

No systemic ill effects are to be expected when animals (including pregnant cows and ewes) are treated at normal dosage.

WITHDRAWAL TIME:

Meat: Cattle 60 days; Sheep 49 days.

Milk: Do not use in animals producing milk for human consumption.

Description:

Oxytetracycline belongs to the group of tetracyclines and acts bacteriostatic against many Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. The action of oxytetracycline is based on inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis. Oxytetracycline is mainly excreted in urine, for a small part in bile and in lactating animals in milk. One injection acts for two days.

Indications:

Arthritis, gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp. in calves, cattle, goats, sheep and swine.

Dosage & Administration:

Administrate by Intramuscular Route according to the following:

Cattle, Calves and Horse: 3-5 ml/100 kg b.w.

Sheep, Goats and Swine: 2-3ml per 50 kg b.w.

Side Effects:

After intramuscular administration local reactions can occur, which disappear in a few days.

Discoloration of teeth in young animals.

Withdrawal Period:

- For meat: 28 days

- For milk: 7 days

Carprofen injection is used as an auxiliary agent of antibacterial drugs for the treatment of bovine infectious respiratory diseases and acute mastitis.

Clinical pharmacology of Carprofen injection

Carprofen injection is a non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug with analgesic and antipyretic activity comparable to indomethacin in animal models. Carprofen is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the propionic acid class. Like other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, the mechanism of action of carprofen is thought to be related to the inhibition of cyclooxygenase activity. A number of studies have shown that Carprofen has a regulatory effect on both humoral and cellular immune responses.

Contraindications of Carprofen injection

Carprofen injection should not be used in cattle allergic to Carprofen. The drug can only be used by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian.

Animal safety: Laboratory studies and clinical field studies on unanaesthetized cattle have shown that carprofen is well tolerated in cattle after oral and subcutaneous administration.
